Winnipeg Humane Society.

I spent several years as the Communications Marketing Manager at the Winnipeg Humane Society. I can’t take too much credit for the popularity of this organization—adorable animals do a pretty great job of marketing themselves—but I did sometimes have the challenge of making an impact on a shoestring budget! Below I have shared just a few of the many ads and campaigns we ran during my time at the WHS.

When I took over the position of Communications and Marketing Manager, I was given no budget to create social media content. Undeterred, I showed up at the shelter with my phone and a dream! A few adorable animals later and I had some videos to help some of our furry residents find their forever homes.
